Job Title: Account Executive – Regulatory Compliance Solutions (North America)
Location: Downtown Calgary - On-site
Reports To: VP, Sales
Compensation: Base + Commission - On target earnings (OTE), aligned to experience and performance

POSITION OVERVIEW

We’re looking for a driven, Account Executive to join our growing sales team and lead new customer acquisition across upstream, midstream, and mining operations.
Your primary responsibility is generating net-new business for Conformii, our purpose-built platform. You’ll collaborate with our Sales, Solution Engineering, and Customer Success teams to deliver value-focused SaaS and professional service solutions that solve complex compliance and operational challenges.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 5+ years of regulatory compliance, health & safety, and/or environmental risk management within the Canadian or US energy industries.
  • 3+ years B2B sales experience, preferably SaaS solutions or professional services.
  • Demonstrated success in a quota-carrying account executive role (SaaS preferred).
  • Working knowledge of Canadian energy regulations and agencies.
  • Ability to engage consultatively and sell value to multiple stakeholders over extended sales cycles in complex buying environments.
  • Strong understanding of regulatory workflows and the ability to link software value to regulatory compliance obligations and challenges.
  • Post-Secondary Degree, preferred
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Solid experience with CRM software and MS Office.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • High degree of professionalism and ethical approach
Responsibilities
  • Drive the full-cycle sales process: prospecting, qualifying, demonstrating, proposing, and closing net-new business for Conformii in North American markets.
  • Build and execute territory plans.
  • Engage and influence prospects across regulatory compliance, IT, legal, and operations functions.
  • Work with Customer Success and Solutions Engineering to tailor compliance solutions. Familiarity with Canadian regulators (CER, AER, BCER, MER, TDG, ECCC) and U.S. bodies (FERC, EPA, and the Railroad Commission of Texas) is essential.
  • Deliver consultative value by connecting compliance challenges to solution capabilities.
  • Collaborate with internal teams - Solution Engineering, Delivery, and Customer Success to ensure seamless onboarding and long-term value realization.
  • Maintain accurate forecasting, sales pipeline health, and sales reporting via CRM.
  • Stay current with industry trends, market activities, and competitors.
