Job Summary Reporting to the Senior Manager, Agency Sales, the Account Executive is responsible for driving incremental revenue, market share and profitability with key travel agency partners. This role will develop and execute account strategies, strengthen agency relationships, and maximize sales performance in alignment with Porter Airlines’ commercial objectives. Duties & Responsibilities Drive Growth and Market Share Deliver incremental revenue and exceed seat share targets across the agency sales channel. Develop and execute strategic account plans to grow business and strengthen partnerships with preferred travel agency partners. Generate new leisure and corporate travel opportunities through proactive prospecting and engagement. Account Management and Performance Manage assigned preferred agency portfolio in Canada and the U.S., ensuring delivery of revenue, share and compliance targets. Conduct regular business reviews to evaluate performance, identify growth opportunities, and negotiate renewals or adjustments to contractual terms. Monitor and analyze booked and flown data to inform sales strategies and incentive recommendations. Commercial Strategy and Execution Implement channel-specific sales strategies to maximize load factors and yield in assigned markets. Oversee incentive override structures, productivity thresholds, and commission programs for assigned accounts. Provide market intelligence and competitor insights to support strategic decisions by senior leadership. Agency Engagement and NDC Growth Coordinate training and engagement initiatives to support the adoption of Porter’s NDC distribution channels, together with the Distribution team. Represent Porter Airlines at key trade shows, conferences, and travel industry events. Collaboration and Cross-Functional Alignment Partner closely with internal teams, including Corporate Sales, Revenue Management, Marketing, Finance, and Contact Center, to ensure consistent messaging and delivery of value to partners. Maintain active collaboration and face-to-face engagement with Toronto headquarters staff. Uphold Porter’s values, corporate standards and contribute to a positive, collaborative work environment. Operational Excellence Maintain accurate records and activity tracking through Zendesk CRM to ensure proper pipeline management and reporting. Support process improvements and change management initiatives to enhance agency engagement and sales effectiveness. Host client events and engagement functions to strengthen partner relationships and brand loyalty. Safety and Compliance Adhere to Porter’s Code of Ethics and Business Conduct and participate in the Safety Management System (SMS) by reporting hazards and incidents in daily operations. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field. Minimum six (6) years of relevant sales experience within the airline, travel agency, or tourism industry. Proven ability to negotiate, influence, and build strong business relationships across diverse stakeholder groups. Strong understanding of travel agency operations, GDS systems, and evolving NDC distribution models. Experience using CRM tools (e.g., Zendesk) and proficiency in data analysis and reporting. Motivated self-starter with excellent presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills. Access to a personal vehicle and a valid driver’s licence are required for sales calls and regional travel. Eligibility to travel domestically and internationally to attend client meetings, conferences, and tradeshows outside of core business hours.
