DESCRIPTION

We currently have a vacancy for the position of Account Executive in our Newmarket office.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Registered Insurance Broker of Ontario (RIBO) Level 1 license minimum
  • 2 or more years experience in an insurance brokerage preferred
  • Strong communication, presentation, and relationship skills
  • Detail-oriented, able to multi-task and organized
  • Self- starter with the ability to establish sales & retention goals
  • Generate new commercial and /or personal lines sales
  • Occasionally participate in the development of marketing plans
  • Communicate with clients, brokerage staff and company underwriters
  • Problem solve client issues, & correspond with clients
  • High level of computer skills, knowledge and previous experience working with SIG XP and Compu-quote will be an asset
Responsibilities

As an Account Executive, your primary focus will be new business generation. You will be required to network, solicit, develop and produce a profitable book of Personal/Commercial business through various cultivation practices & techniques. The successful candidate must be able to service and maintain their growing book of business. Any existing book of business would be an asset.
