As a Software Account Executive you will build strong and collaborative relationships with commercial prospects and drive new business and revenue. You will act as a trusted advisor, establishing relationships with C-Suites to partner with them for long-term success. NOTE: This is a remote-based role; however, there will be opportunities to travel to customer sites across New Zealand. What a day in the life looks like: With a strong emphasis on new business whilst growing existing business, achieve revenue targets by exceeding sales quotas by running a full cycle sales process Develop and strategise account plans Drive pipeline development through a combination of cold calling, email campaigns and market sector knowledge/intelligence together with Marketing & SDR’s. Work with the supporting team and engage appropriate resources to lead the end-to-end sales process Ensure all pipeline and sales deal data are current throughout the sales cycle from qualified opportunity through deal closure in salesforce CRM. Strengthen client relationships through regular cadence, engagement and face-to-face meetings to build high value, long lasting relationships. What you bring to the team: Demonstrated experience as an Account Executive with exposure to C-Suite in commercial accounts, executive presence and can demonstrate the need to influence at this level. Demonstrated experience as a quota carrier with a hunter mentality and have worked toward exceeding sales targets. Self-motivated, driven and resilient with an understanding of a long and complex sales cycle and remaining engaged and positive You understand supply chain and companies offering supply chain technology solutions. You are an energetic evangelist with a passion to drive successful partnerships. You are a strong collaborator and self-starter with the ability to assess and respond to competing and changing priorities. You have excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Responsibilities
