As an Account Executive, you will play a key role in helping us achieve our growth goals by generating leads, closing deals, and building a strong network of prospective clients and Channel Partners.

ABOUT THE PERSON WE ARE LOOKING FOR

We’re seeking a highly motivated and experienced Account Executive with a strong background in the ICT industry. You will be confident presenting to clients and delivering sector-relevant demonstrations, positioning yourself as a trusted expert in the field.
You’ll be well-networked and skilled at leveraging existing relationships to generate new opportunities. From initial engagement through to deal closure, you will take full ownership of the sales cycle, driving both customer and Channel Partner acquisition to support Sendmarc’s growth objectives.
To succeed in this role, you must be a self-starter with outstanding communication and relationship-building skills. You should feel equally comfortable engaging with IT professionals, sales teams, and senior executives — clearly articulating Sendmarc’s value proposition in every interaction.

In addition we will need you to:

  • Have at least 3-5 years IT Solution Selling experience;
  • Have a proven track record of achieving targets;
  • Have strong networking, customer relationship and communication skills;
  • Have experience In opening and closing enterprise and mid-market opportunities
  • Have a clear interest in cloud-based email management solutions;
  • Be an out of the box entrepreneurial thinker who can execute in a structured and detailed manner;
  • Be comfortable in initiating discussions within new, unfamiliar or competitive relationships;
  • Be able to excel in a dynamic, fast paced and changing environment;
  • Channel Partner or Vendor experience will be beneficial to the role
  • Experience taking a detailed and targeted Channel strategy to market would be a plus
Responsibilities

As an Account Executive at Sendmarc, you’ll operate in a dynamic, self-driven, and results-oriented environment. Your focus will be on accelerating business growth across Australia and the broader APAC region by working closely with Channel Partners and direct customers.

Your key responsibilities include:

  • Proactively identifying and developing new business opportunities through strategic networking and outreach.
  • Building and maintaining long-term relationships with Channel Partners and customers to support sustainable growth.
  • Mapping customer needs and aligning them with Sendmarc’s strengths and solutions.
  • Understanding and effectively communicating the value Sendmarc brings to various customer personas (e.g., Finance Directors, IT Managers, CISOs).
  • Driving sales pipeline growth and managing opportunities through the entire sales journey.
  • Forecasting revenue, setting and achieving sales targets, and contributing to monthly company objectives.
  • Preparing compelling business proposals and delivering persuasive presentations.
  • Responding promptly and professionally to customer and Channel Partner enquiries.
  • Supporting the success of Channel Partners through training, strategy alignment, and ongoing enablement.
  • Helping partners leverage Sendmarc’s workflow and automation tools to enhance efficiency and scale.
  • Collaborating with internal teams, including Sales, Partner Management, Marketing, and Executive Leadership, to align efforts and close deals.
  • Maintaining an up-to-date understanding of Sendmarc’s product offerings, go-to-market strategies, and industry positioning.
  • Independently managing your workflow and sales activities on Hubspot with minimal supervision.
  • Tracking and reporting weekly progress, aligning efforts to targets, and ensuring a consistent, healthy pipeline.
