 Account Executive Bentley Mills, Inc. is searching for an Account Executive for the Detroit territory. The Account Executive will pro-actively promote and represent Bentley, develop new and existing design, dealer and end use customers in the designated territory. The Account Executive will work closely with Bentley dealers and customers to ensure completion of projects within budget. The Account Executive will develop a strategic market segment plan with the Sales Manager and local sales team to take advantage of all available end-use customer targets. This person will be responsible for maintaining successful and mutually beneficial business relationships with customers and prospective customers in the designated territory. Minimum Qualifications: * Minimum 2 years experience handling a sales territory in the carpet industry or related field required. * Experience with generating options, alternatives, and solutions for customers to successfully grow the business in this territory preferred. * Knowledge of local markets to include: accounts and contacts in the territory, market dynamics and their effect on projects preferred. * A bachelor’s degree or similar educational background required. * Exceptional verbal and written communication skills required. * Proficient knowledge of Lotus SmartSuite/Microsoft Office preferred.  * Ability and means to travel on a flexible schedule as needed, proof of liability and property damage insurance on vehicle used is required. Working Conditions Sedentary work. Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects. Repetitive motion. Substantial movements (motions) of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers. The worker is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; extensive reading. This position reports to the Regional Vice President of Sales of Bentley.
