THE JOB / Account Executive, Client Services (Sports Sponsorship) CLIENT SERVICES / Responsible for leading Octagon’s client business and day-to-day management of client programs. The Account Executive will join our skilled and dynamic client services team. In this role, you will support with the day-to-day sponsorship management and execution of the clients’ sports portfolios. This role will support the team in the development and execution of all property planning, activation and programming as delegated. We are seeking a highly organized and proactive individual to join the team. The ideal candidate will develop strong client and partner relationships, lead the creative process across client properties, and provide essential support for day-to-day account management tasks. This person will be a quick learner who can effectively manage multiple projects, deliver exceptional creative assets, and communicate clearly across both internal and external teams. THE WORK YOU’LL DO Own the creative process with the client and property, working with internal teams to plan, execute, and track all creative assets Demonstrate strong PowerPoint skills by developing high-quality presentations, templates, and reports for client and internal use Assist the account team in the execution of campaigns for select properties across the client portfolios Maintain and update specs and deadline calendar and image databases for all creative assets Assist in creating formal documentation for projects (i.e., status reports, creative trackers, and presentations) Provide support on NIL (Name, Image & Likeness) projects, including coordinating deliverables, tracking assets, and liaising with partners Assist with copy, image, and Intellectual Property approvals with select partners, sponsorship, and brand teams Liaise with agency partners on all campaigns, as assigned Support identification of new activation opportunities, industry trends, and new partnership evaluations Other related duties as assigned THE BIGGER TEAM YOU’LL JOIN Recognized as one of the “Best Places to Work in Sports”, Octagon is the global sports, entertainment, and experiential marketing arm of the Interpublic Group. WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR 1-3 years of relevant experience in agency/client service, event marketing, and/or sports marketing Fast learner with a collaborative, hands-on approach and strong work ethic Ability to work effectively under short timelines and as part of a team Attention to detail, strong organization skills, and ability to perform multiple tasks at once Self-starter who can initiate work independently Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Ability to communicate in a professional manner in environments with high profile members of the brand and properties Flexibility and willingness to travel domestically and work weekends or holidays as needed. Anticipated travel level: Low (0-15%) This position pays $40,000, is overtime-eligible and comes with a comprehensive benefits package.
