Coverdale Barclay is an independent communications agency which specialises in the built environment and placemaking.
We deliver strategic communications programmes for developers, landlords, investors, local authorities, BIDs and other organisations shaping the built environment of tomorrow, to support their reputation and the profile of their places.
Our projects span town and city centre regeneration, neighbourhood repositioning and new residential and commercial developments. We have delivered PR campaigns for some of the UK’s highest profile urban transformation projects.

Responsibilities

THE ROLE AND SKILLS

  • Full-time, permanent
  • We will consider applications from recent graduates and career-starters with no or limited experience in PR, as well as current AEs looking to develop their careers
  • Hybrid working (2 days a week in our office in London)
  • We are seeking a proactive candidate who is passionate about storytelling
  • Organised
  • Good written and verbal communication

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Input into PR strategies, such as contributing ideas for story angles and campaigns
  • Supporting on the delivery of press campaigns, such as drafting press releases and broadcast notices, and liaising with the media
  • Supporting on profiling senior leaders
  • Supporting on the delivery of stakeholder and community engagement strategies, including coordinating events for stakeholders and drafting copy to keep them informed of plans and changes
  • Supporting on the delivery of client events. These are varied in their nature, such as art exhibition launches, food festivals or public consultations
  • Supporting on the delivery of campaigns for clients in line with industry conferences and events
  • Maintaining structured client account running, such as producing meeting agendas and keeping timelines and key messages up to date
  • Coordinating videography and photography
  • Generating content ideas for social media and drafting posts
  • Creating video assets for social media
