YOUR IMPACT In this role, you will drive strategic growth within a defined set of Canadian Public Sector accounts by positioning OpenText’s Cybersecurity portfolio across Application Security, Data Security & Privacy, Identity & Access Management, and Security Operations. You will shape customer transformation initiatives, expand product footprint through whitespace opportunities, and lead the full sales cycle from discovery to close. Your expertise and leadership will directly influence pipeline creation, customer adoption, and revenue acceleration across key accounts. WHAT THE ROLE OFFERS Ownership of high‑value Public Sector enterprise accounts within a defined territory The opportunity to sell a diverse suite of cybersecurity solutions across multiple specialized domains Collaboration with world‑class Solution Engineers, Product teams, and Channel partners A role where strategic account planning and long‑term pipeline development are core to success Ability to influence customer outcomes, challenge their thinking, and guide them through a structured buying journey A platform to drive complex, multi‑stakeholder deals and consistently exceed quota A culture of teamwork, innovation, and professional growth WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED Proven track record of closing large, complex enteprise software deals, ideally in the public domain. 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity or adjacent security software domains (AppSec, Data Security/Privacy, IAM, SecOps) Strength in building executive relationships, negotiating enterprise agreements, and driving consensus across multiple decision‑makers Ability to uncover customer gaps, build compelling ROI‑focused business cases, and articulate clear value outcomes Strong communication skills and the ability to tell impactful, customer‑centric stories Deep understanding of enterprise environments, business processes, and technology architectures Experience collaborating within a matrixed sales organization and engaging channel partners (GSIs, regional integrators, VARs) High level of initiative, ownership, and drive to consistently exceed revenue targets ONE LAST THING OpenText is more than just a Canadian corporation, it's a global community where trust is foundational, the bar is raised, and outcomes are owned. Compensation: At OpenText, we offer a thoughtfully designed benefits package that supports your physical, emotional, and financial wellbeing. As you move through the hiring process, we’re happy to provide more details about our compensation programs, including variable and commission compensation opportunities for eligible roles, vacation entitlement, and paid time off. Salary Range: $100,600 - 150,800; this role is eligible for VC/Commission compensation upfront in addition to the salary range disclosed. Depending on the candidate’s education, experience, skills, geographical location, and alignment with internal equity and external market, actual salary may vary and be higher or lower than the range posted.
