Description
AE dedicated for data centres (for both Singapore and Thailand) The Account Executive will be based in Singapore, aiming to develop data centre users headquartered in Singapore for their data centre facilities in Singapore and Thailand. And the AE will also work with consultants, general contractors and system integrators in data centres to demonstrate Genetec solutions, design, spec-in, prepare for POC and tenders required to ultimately win and land new data centre customers to hit the assigned goal. What your day will look like: Work on the named accounts (data centre end users & consultants) for meetings, Genetec Experience Center touring, POC showcasing Coordinate end users, system integrators, consultants training. Discover and track opportunities, follow up and distribute leads to the target system integrator partners by working closely with Channel Sales Manager Identify customer needs, respond to RFIs, RFQs, prepare quotes and proposals by working with technical support. Manage forecasts and achieve quotas on a monthly basis Update and maintain data in CRM, including sales activities, customer accounts & forecasts Acquire, maintain, and report adequate knowledge of product, market, and competition. About you: Technical & Solution Knowledge Min 5 years of experience in a sales role with a focus on physical security solutions Min 3 years of experience in data centre vertical and familiar with partnering with end users, consultants, main-cons, sub-cons and physical security SI’s Require proven ability to present and position complex physical security solutions to both technical and non-technical audiences Understanding of integration/migration strategies from legacy systems and device compatibility. Presentation & Communication Skills Demonstrated experience delivering structured presentations with clear agendas, relevant case studies, and credible data points. Ability to handle objections confidently and maintain audience engagement. Familiarity with Challenger or consultative sales approaches is desirable. Compliance & Industry Awareness Confidence in discussing local/regional compliance requirements (e.g., SOCI Act, ISO standards, data sovereignty) and their impact on solution design. Ability to relate compliance positioning back to our value proposition. Business Storytelling Strong capability to link technical features to customer business outcomes, supported by industry insights and customer success stories. Refined Assessment Process Include a live mock presentation and Q&A handling exercise during interviews to assess structure, technical accuracy, and persuasiveness. Let's talk perks!
