Account Executive, Data Sales – Financial Services (Europe) As the research and analysis division of the Economist Group, The Economist Intelligence Unit (EIU) provides data and insights that enables leaders to uncover opportunities, manage risk and empower them to act with confidence when making strategic decisions. The EIU is the global standard in providing high quality, actionable intelligence to the public and private sector, assessing issues that impact the businesses in more than two hundred countries and across industries . We are seeking an ambitious and accomplished Account Executive, Data Sales to grow our footprint within the Financial Services sector across Europe. Representing one of the world’s most trusted sources of global intelligence, you will sell our intelligence data platform - a leading data product that informs strategic and investment decisions across markets. You are a self-starter with a proven record of selling data and insights or business intelligence solutions into financial institutions. Commercially astute and intellectually curious, you’ll take ownership of your territory, driving new business through strategic prospecting, networking, and consultative engagement with senior decision-makers. What you’ll do: Build and manage a strong pipeline of qualified opportunities to consistently achieve against your sales target. Lead the full sales cycle -from prospecting to close. Develop trusted relationships with clients across Europe’s financial sector. Consistently exceed sales targets through disciplined, insight-led selling. What you’ll bring: Proven success selling data products to Financial Services across the buy side and sell side Understanding of programmatic delivery (APIs, Feeds, Marketplaces) and the client infrastructure supporting the enterprise use of data products Experience of the licensing and commercial requirements that underpin enterprise level data distribution sales Strong consultative skills and senior-level gravitas Proficiency with CRM (Salesforce), Sales Navigator, and Excel. Responsibilities
