As an Account Executive, you will play a crucial role in driving our growth by identifying opportunities, building relationships, and delivering exceptional solutions to our clients. As an Account Executive you will be responsible for driving revenue growth within the colocation market segment by developing and maintaining relationships with key decision-makers. You will collaborate closely with internal teams to understand client requirements and deliver customized solutions that address their unique challenges. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of exceeding sales targets in the critical infrastructure industry, with a focus on the colocation market segment Responsibilities Identify and qualify sales opportunities within the colocation market segment. Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including C-level executives, IT managers, and facility managers. Understand client requirements and develop customized solutions that address their specific needs. Collaborate with internal technical teams to design and propose comprehensive solutions. Present proposals to clients and effectively communicate the value proposition of our offerings. Negotiate contracts and terms to ensure mutually beneficial agreements. Meet and exceed sales targets and revenue goals on a consistent basis. Stay informed about industry trends, competitive landscape, and market developments. Provide regular updates and reports on sales activities, pipeline, and forecasts. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or related field (MBA preferred). Minimum of 7 years of related industry experience, with a proven track record of success in sales within the critical infrastructure sector. Experience selling into the colocation market segment is highly desirable. Prior experience in structured cabling, audiovisual (AV), security, or networking is a plus. Strong technical aptitude with the ability to understand complex infrastructure solutions. Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. Ability to build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers. Self-motivated with a results-driven mindset and a passion for exceeding targets. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Willingness to travel 25-50% of the time. Preferred location to be based in Northern Virginia and/or Columbus, OH.
