THE PERSON

We are looking for a dynamic and results-driven account manager with a strong background in FMCG or Food Service sales. With a keen understanding of financial metrics and a natural ability to build and maintain relationships, you thrive in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment. Your excellent communication and negotiating skills allow you to drive growth, exceed targets, and deliver exceptional results. You will have experience in and obtain the following.

  • At least 2-3 years’ account management experience with a proven track record in driving sales and managing key customer relationships within the FMCG or Food Service industries.
  • Strong financial acumen with the ability to interpret GSV, trade spend, and NSV to drive business results.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with both internal teams and external customers.
  • Skilled negotiator, able to navigate complex situations and secure favourable outcomes without compromising relationships.
  • Goal-oriented and self-motivated, with a passion for exceeding targets and contributing to business growth.
  • Adaptable and able to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

As an Account Executive for Eastern Victoria, you will be at the forefront of driving profitable sales and growth within the foodservice distributor channel. Reporting directly to the Southern Field Sales Manager, you will manage and grow key distributor accounts, implement strategic plans, and deliver business results that support both state and national objectives. The main duties and responsibilities will include but not be limited to;

  • Driving Profitable Growth: Implement state-level strategies that align with our national objectives, ensuring growth in both GSV and NSV. You’ll nurture relationships with distributors and customers, securing new business opportunities across multiple channels
  • Financial Management: You’ll be responsible for tracking and reporting on sales performance, maintaining state trading term metrics, and ensuring all financial goals are met.
  • Customer-Centric Focus: By actively engaging with both new and existing customers, you will ensure high levels of service and identify opportunities to enhance product offerings.
  • New Product Development: Lead the distribution of new product lines and ensure their success through strategic promotion and support to the distributor network.
  • Collaborative High-Performance Culture: Work alongside the broader Out of Home “OOH” team, supporting a culture of teamwork, accountability, and motivation.
