ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE

The Account Executive will be a key member and strategic business partner and will be accountable for the overall management of existing business relationships. All travel expenses are reimbursable. The Account Executive will be accountable for the development, growth, and overall management of new and existing business relationships in the 5 Boroughs & Long Island NY region.

REQUIREMENTS INCLUDE:

  • High School diploma or equivalent, college degree preferred
  • 3-5 years successful experience in account management, outside sales, marketing and customer service
  • Clean Driver’s License and reliable vehicle (expenses reimbursed)
  • Strong work ethic, self-motivation, and desire to succeed
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Candidates should: be organized, possess excellent planning and follow-up skills, have a passion to lead teams to produce a high level of performance
  • Must exhibit superior prospecting, presentation, and closing skills
  • Excellent social interaction skills

    Pay: $75,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year

Responsibilities

· Provide top of the line Client Service by conducting regular site visits, checking inventories and providing customer education
· Build relationships with staff and internal team to ensure quality standards are met with regard to on-time delivery, fill rates, customer needs and other requests
· Strategize account retention and revenue growth through customer renewals by analyzing the status and profitability of accounts
· Identify and capture Add-On Sales opportunities to promote higher-tier products.
· Monitor contract expiration dates and annual price increases
· Manage the renewal of service, prepare renewal proposals and obtain signed agreements
· Provide written recommendations to upper management regarding opportunities for improved efficiency and savings
· Develop business plans to include sales strategies for the region and for each targeted/prospective account
· Source and pursue targeted accounts to expand customer base
· Generate and deliver customer presentations and proposals, with the goal of securing long-term service agreements
· Manage all aspects of new account set-up.
· Complete administrative requests made by management as needed
· Forecast and achieve annual objectives for revenue and gross margin growth
