Title: Account Executive
Reports To: National Director, Sales
Status: Full-time, Permanent
Territory: Vancouver, BC
Department: Sales
PURPOSE: The Account Executive is responsible for accelerating the growth of the company by generating leads, qualifying prospects and closing deals. This role will be dedicated to creating new business opportunities and booking qualified leads using phone, email and social media. The ideal candidate will have relevant sales experience and a proven track record for meeting and exceeding sales targets. Our Sales team will be motivated and passionate about selling and will have the ability to learn and adapt quickly.

ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Leverage both inbound leads and outbound activities through proactive and creative prospecting
  • Perform targeted cold calls, emails, and other sales activities to schedule discoveries/demos Source leads and generate a business pipeline
  • Perform research to provide account insights and identify key stakeholders. Work closely with internal teams to support the development of solutions to meet client’s needs
  • Virtually showcase our software to prospective clients
  • Work closely with the Director of Sales to identify and source prospective clients
  • Understand the needs and goals of each client to best align them with the best solution
  • Provide excellent customer service with each point of contact, and reach out multiple times to each lead to drive connection
  • Immediately follow up with potential customers to arrange or facilitate a sales driven call (e.g., Price Quotes, Pilot discussion)

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Able to work autonomously, with excellent communication & interpersonal skills, and possess the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • 3-5 years’ previous experience in Sales or Marketing
  • Previous experience in ecommerce business to consumer sales, courier specific is an asset
  • May have a degree in business, marketing or another related field
  • Demonstrate professionalism & integrity with highly confidential & sensitive information;
  • Strong computer skills-Microsoft Office products.
  • Must have effective interpersonal skills, effective oral and written communication skills
  • Experience in transportation, operations or logistics an asset

WORKPLACE AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Must have vehicle; local travel will be required
