As an Account Executive at ABR Employment Services, you’ll be at the forefront of new business development, forging valuable relationships and growing our client base through strategic sales efforts. You’ll work with medium-sized businesses, guiding them toward staffing solutions that meet their needs while promoting long-term partnerships and contract renewals. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES * Develop New Business: Use a consultative sales approach to create and execute strategic market plans, targeting and closing new accounts, while expanding existing relationships. * Drive Results: Meet or exceed gross profit goals while managing medium to large accounts, ensuring you're always pushing toward success. * Client Engagement: Schedule visits, tour client facilities, present service offerings, and negotiate contracts, all while building lasting rapport. * Collaborate and Customize: Work with the VP to create tailored staffing solutions, proposals, and business reviews that address client needs and maximize sales opportunities. * Smooth Transitions: Ensure seamless handoffs of new business to the service team, setting clients up for long-term success. * Stay Informed: Use market analysis to understand client needs, pricing strategies, and develop sales campaigns that align with company goals. * Lead Sales Activities: Stay proactive with client outreach—phone calls, emails, and face-to-face visits—while keeping all activity documented in our system. * Industry Knowledge: Stay ahead of the competition by staying current on industry trends, ABR services, and best practices. * Networking and Representation: Represent ABR at association meetings, job fairs, and networking groups. Join at least 2 networking groups to grow your reach. * Leverage Technology: Work closely with Operations and Sales teams to implement automation, improving efficiency and streamlining processes. ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES * Sales Reporting: Attend company meetings and provide updates on sales activities, pipeline progress, and future projections. * Continuous Learning: Keep up with the latest trends in the staffing industry and recruiting through various media. * Sales Call Tracking: Keep detailed records of all sales activities and follow up with a strategic account management plan. * Other Duties: Flexible to take on new tasks as needed to support the team and achieve goals. QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS To excel in this role, you should demonstrate the following skills and experience: * Exceptional Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage professionally with clients at all levels. * Proven Sales Ability: Experience in business-to-business sales or training, with a solid understanding of consultative, solution-based selling techniques. * Customer-Centric: Ability to listen attentively and provide customized solutions that meet client needs. * Tech-Savvy: Comfortable navigating software and technology—particularly Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint) and entering data into CRM systems. * Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively with others while taking ownership of individual sales goals. * Problem-Solver: Strong analytical skills to interpret complex instructions and respond to customer inquiries. * Cold Calling Confidence: Comfortable making client cold calls and drop-ins to generate new business. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE * Education: Associate Degree and 2+ years of sales/business development experience (staffing industry experience preferred). * Experience: Proven track record of sales success and a passion for growing new business.
