POSITION DETAILS

We are currently looking for an innovative and experienced Account Executive with proven success in managing, selling, and executing strategic objectives to exceed local advertising revenue goals. The ideal candidate possesses a strong business development background utilizing a consultative and strategic sales approach. You will need to prospect qualified candidates, consult to identify growth opportunities, and deliver a compelling marketing strategy with an extensive, first-class digital portfolio. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving growth through new accounts and upselling existing accounts. In this role you will conduct face-to-face customer meetings, presentations and proposals.

EXPERIENCE DESIRED

  • 2+ years of experience in a high acquisition, consultative B2B Sales role and a college degree or acceptable equivalent of education and work experience.
  • Ability to work on multiple campaigns simultaneously, under deadline, while being flexible to the clients’ needs.
  • Ability to create and sell custom digital advertising strategies.
  • Ability to collaborate actively and constructively in a team environment.
  • Ability to pivot quickly without losing speed, focus, or quality.
  • A problem solver who thrives on challenges and can simplify complex issues.
  • Excellent track record of developing and selling custom multi-tactic digital advertising campaigns and closing business, including mobile platforms, SEO/SEM, Targeted Email, Social, and other offerings. (Google AdWords, Analytics certifications are preferred but not required).
  • A true hunter mentality combined with strong prospecting, planning, organizational, and time-management skills.
  • Effective communication and presentation skills, having a persuasive and patient, yet compelling and compassionate approach. You’ll be forging strong relationships with customers and must be able to earn their trust.
  • Experience with Adpoint or another CRM tool (Daily use required).
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Vehicle insurance is required (at least minimum insurance required for the state in which the employee works).
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
