With continued growth, and the opening of a unique, industry leading Experience Center in Toronto, GAV account executives work in tandem with our Business Development Strategists, our marketing team, and the executive leadership team in developing and maintaining accounts nationally.
EXPERIENCE AND REQUIREMENTS: CANDIDATES WITH THE FOLLOWING WILL SOLELY BE CONSIDERED:
· 3+ years experience as an account executive.
· Selling Audio Visual or IT products/services.
· Selling experience at the executive and/or C level
· Experience in solution-based selling in Fortune 500 / Enterprise type accounts (but not exclusive to those markets)
· Has developed a network of decision makers/ technology implementors
ROLE OVERVIEW:
The GAV Account Executive plays a pivotal role in building and maintaining client relationships. Primarily responsible for ensuring client satisfaction, the Account Executive acts as the bridge between the client and the company’s services or products. This role requires a proactive approach to address client needs, secure new accounts, and enhance existing relationships to achieve sales targets and enhance the revenue stream of the organization.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Developing and maintaining strong relationships with clients to ensure their satisfaction and retention.
· Identifying and securing new business opportunities through networking and prospect activities.
· Understanding client needs and collaborating with internal teams to ensure that these needs are met with the appropriate services, products, or solutions.
· Conducting presentations and product demonstrations to existing and potential clients.
· Negotiating contracts and closing agreements to maximize profits.
· Monitoring market trends and competitor activity to recommend improvements and adjustments in strategies.
· Preparing regular reports on account status, transactions, and progress towards sales targets.
· In addition to overarching responsibilities, the Account Executive is expected to perform the following specific tasks:
· Coordinate with marketing, sales, and customer service departments to align client-facing activities and initiatives.
· Manage and resolve client conflicts and complaints to safeguard the company-client relationship.
· Update internal databases with account details, including new contacts and activities.
· Participate in industry events, conferences, and trade shows to foster network expansion and enhance industry knowledge.
· Implement effective sales strategies under the guidance of senior executives.
