Description

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:

  • Minimum of 3+ years of direct sales/SaaS experience selling an enterprise-level solution with complex sales cycles.
  • Fluency in German and English (written and spoken) — able to engage confidently with C-level stakeholders.
  • Proven experience selling into the German or DACH market
  • Proven track record of success in B2B SaaS sales, ideally within adtech, martech, or digital marketing.
  • Strong experience managing the full sales cycle, from prospecting to closing.
  • A consultative, solution-oriented sales style with the ability to uncover customer pain points and align solutions.
  • Excellent presentation, negotiation, and influencing skills.
  • Self-starter mentality with the drive to build new business in a growth market.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) and modern GTM/sales engagement tools.
  • A collaborative mindset — comfortable working cross-functionally with SDRs, Marketing, Product and Customer Success.
  • Resilience and adaptability in a fast-paced, evolving SaaS environment.
  • Experience in utilising MEDDPICC in the Sales process or similar value-selling methodologies

WHAT YOU’LL DO AT ADTHENA….

We’re looking for a driven and commercially minded German-speaking Account Executive to accelerate Adthena’s growth in the German market. In this role, you’ll be at the forefront of our expansion, responsible for building and nurturing relationships with senior decision-makers across digital agencies and enterprise brands.
You’ll own the full sales cycle — from prospecting and engaging new customers, to running consultative discovery sessions, delivering compelling demos, and closing high-value SaaS deals. With a focus on market penetration in Germany, you’ll combine your native-level language skills with deep cultural understanding to create trust, influence stakeholders, and deliver outstanding client outcomes.
This is a high-impact role where you’ll partner closely with Marketing, SDRs, Product and Customer Success to unlock new opportunities, hit ambitious revenue targets, and establish Adthena as the competitive intelligence partner of choice in the region.

MORE ABOUT YOUR ROLE AT ADTHENA…

  • Drive new business acquisition in Germany, in addition to the UK & US markets, focusing on digital agencies and enterprise brands + connecting with C-level to C-2 business leaders
  • Consistently build external technical and business champions to land new logos to the tune of an >$800,000-1 million ARR annual quota
  • Work with internal champions to build and deliver ROI assessments within your accounts to prove the value of the Adthena solution and close strategic deals
  • Generate 20-30% of your sales pipeline on your own, with the remaining coming from your BDR, Marketing & Partnerships, with the ability to manage numerous transactions simultaneously through the sales funnel in <100 days
  • Execute your own contracts and commercial negotiations with prospects to close opportunities with a 30% win rate
  • Learn and apply the Adthena Sales playbook consistently.
  • Master MEDDPICC to drive and grow your opportunities
  • Run structured, value-led discovery that links personal pain to business impact
  • Run clean, well-structured meetings with UFCs and clear next steps
  • Use ROI models and success stories to drive urgency and alignment.
  • Leverage your Native-German language skills and market knowledge to build trust and influence decision-makers.
