Position Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and driven Account Executive to join our team in the Greater Toronto Area. This role combines office-based tasks, such as scheduling appointments and client communications, with field activities, including site visits, quoting, and closing sales. The ideal candidate will be a trusted advisor to our clients, guiding them through significant investments ranging from $25,000 to over $1 million.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Proven sales experience within the construction industry, particularly with building supplies; roofing experience is an asset.
  • Excellent communication skills; bilingualism is an asset but not required.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Technical education or experience in the building construction industry is beneficial but not mandatory.
  • Ability to differentiate building material products and their appropriate applications is advantageous.
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints is a plus.
  • Working knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Proficiency with Internal CRM Software.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Ability to set up and climb an extension ladder to access commercial roofs.
  • Reliable transportation for daily commuting to the office.
Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain professional relationships with existing and prospective clients.
  • Travel within the market to ensure timely project delivery and client satisfaction.
  • Manage existing accounts and generate new leads to maintain a robust sales pipeline.
  • Conduct site visits and prepare comprehensive, professional proposals.
  • Guide clients from initial contact through project completion, ensuring a seamless experience.
  • Procure special order products, manage necessary documentation, and coordinate with clients to meet delivery schedules.
  • Provide clients with detailed information on product selection and availability.
