TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS:

You don’t need to be an engineer, but a strong technical foundation is essential. You’ll need to engage in meaningful conversations with decision-makers and IT professionals, translating needs into solutions.

Experience or familiarity with the following is required:

  • Managed IT Services: Helpdesk, endpoint management, patching, RMM, PSA tools
  • Cloud Solutions: Microsoft 365, Azure, Google Workspace, cloud migrations
  • Cybersecurity Services:
  • Firewalls, antivirus/EDR, MFA, backups
  • Data Loss Prevention (DLP) strategies and tools
  • Phishing protection, vulnerability assessments
  • Compliance standards (SOC2, HIPAA, PIPEDA)
  • Networking Infrastructure: Firewalls, switches, routers, wireless access points, VPN
  • Business Hardware Sales: Desktops, laptops, servers, monitors, printers, peripherals
  • Disaster Recovery & Business Continuity: BCDR planning, backups, RTO/RPO
  • Remote Work Enablement: Secure remote access, virtual desktops, collaboration tools
  • SaaS and MRR Sales Models: Subscription/licensing-based recurring revenue structures
  • AI Technology Awareness:
  • Understanding of AI use in business applications
  • Awareness of its limitations, security vulnerabilities, and ethical considerations
Responsibilities

ROLE OVERVIEW:

We’re looking for a motivated and tech-savvy Account Executive who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about solving real business problems through IT. You’ll own the full sales cycle—prospecting, discovery, proposal, and close—while also playing a critical role in growing existing accounts through projects, upselling services, and identifying new technology opportunities.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Generate new business through outbound outreach, referrals, and networking
  • Lead discovery calls and meetings to understand business and technical needs
  • Develop and deliver tailored proposals to close new MRR contracts
  • Collaborate with technical teams to scope and quote projects and solutions
  • Work closely with existing clients to identify upsell opportunities and plan IT projects
  • Maintain an accurate pipeline using CRM tools like HubSpot, Zoho, or Salesforce
  • Act as a trusted advisor to clients, aligning IT solutions with their business goals
