POSITION SUMMARY

As an Account Executive for Cullen/Gangnail in the UK, your core responsibilities will be managing and owning relationships with current customers, handling incoming enquiries, and day to day brand support and maintenance for Key Account team members. Working as an expert communicator serving as a first point of contact for both distributor and internal teams, you would be interacting with both daily.
Elements of the account executive role include coordination of account activity, supporting sales opportunities, managing orders and incoming enquiries, and providing administrative support to these accounts and the Business Unit. A key success factor of this position will be the autonomy and decision making required to react quickly, take pricing and commercial decisions, whilst managing administrative tasks and providing intermediate product/competitor knowledge.
This network support role will ensure our customer channels receive the correct attention, engagement and education to operate, and establish long term relationships.

Responsibilities
  • Manage, own and develop relationships with current 20 customers who do not require field visits/support, defending fragmented but substantial revenue base.
  • Simple commercial decision making – facilitating our customers to win by operating within a price/opportunity remit.
  • Analysis of customer data and ordering trends on the Cube, proposing improvements, leveraging 80.20 and safeguarding margins.
  • Support other team members who manage 80 customers with analysis, pricing etc., and support with multi-branch customers as a contact base.
  • Customer consultation, support, services and administrative tool use.
  • Front line knowledge base for the Cullen brand, supporting both internal teams and customer enquiries.
  • Maximising customers purchasing proficiency and ensure utilisation of purchasing patterns and promotions.
  • Work closely with the Customer Services Manager, Commercial & Marketing team to facilitate excellent team communication and meeting customer needs.
  • Applying and understanding ITW Toolbox to working methods and approach, utilising ‘80.20’ methodology for time and project management.
  • Maintain accurate and up to date records of CRM systems
  • Provide training when required and utilise all relevant ITWCP teams to ensure high quality support for customer, peers and other stakeholders
  • Ensuring the health and safety of yourself and others in your work environment
