JOB SUMMARY

Kodi Connect is seeking an Account Executive with strong B2B experience to join our growing team. We host exclusive, invite-only networking events for senior IT and cybersecurity executives from the largest companies across the U.S. These events are fully sponsored, allowing leaders to attend at no cost. Our mission is to build thriving executive communities that strengthen cybersecurity defense and accelerate IT development.
This role is much more than sending an invitation. You’ll be constantly engaged in proactive outreach, finding creative ways to connect with the right executives, nurturing relationships, and ensuring our events are full of qualified leaders. Success means building long-term trust, managing logistics for hundreds of executives, and creating an experience that makes them want to return again and again.
You’ll also be part of a small, collaborative team with a common goal: to ensure each event exceeds required attendance numbers from the top companies and executives in the city. We constantly adapt, continuing to be the best IT and cybersecurity events company for high-level networking and discussion events. We are backed by expert communities who value and love what we do, and we want someone to join our team with the same passion.

Responsibilities

Outreach & Targeting

  • Conduct daily outreach to executives through cold calls, emails, LinkedIn, and creative sequences.
  • Use tools like ZoomInfo, Salesforce, and LinkedIn Sales Navigator to identify and qualify prospects.
  • Not afraid to hit numbers - balancing quality + quantity to consistently generate new leads for upcoming events - securing executive attendance
  • Experiment with new approaches and messaging sequences to improve engagement.

Community Building

  • Invite and nurture executives to attend events, ensuring they meet strict criteria (senior IT/cybersecurity decision-makers, end-users only).
  • Help build Kodi Connect’s executive advisor panel and strengthen our leadership communities.
  • Follow up consistently to maintain engagement and build long-term trust.

Relationship Management

  • Conduct video calls with attendees to explain event details, answer questions, and build rapport.
  • Provide concierge-level support around logistics (travel, scheduling, event reminders).
  • Follow up after events to gather feedback, reinforce relationships, and encourage future participation.

Event Success

  • Ensure every event reaches full attendance with the right mix of executives.
  • Work closely with the operations team to align outreach with event needs.
  • Maintain Salesforce with accurate activity logs, tasks, and follow-ups to ensure nothing falls through the cracks.
