Account Executive (Based at Noyon Lanka Biyagama) Noyon Lanka, originally a joint venture between a French lace company and MAS Holdings, is a global leader in lace design and production. With design libraries in France and Sri Lanka and production facilities across Sri Lanka, Indonesia, and China, Noyon creates unique lace designs for international brands. Its expertise extends to warp-knit solutions through the INNTRIX collection, catering to activewear, sportswear, and femtech markets. Noyon also pioneers sustainable solutions such as Planetones, a 100% natural dye solution for lace. We are seeking for an individual to effectively handle a portfolio of customers from order confirmation/inquiry to dispatch of goods to the customer by closely liaising with customers, production, planning and other support service departments in order to ensure on-time delivery to the customer/meet organizational requirements such as sales revenue/budget. Key Responsibilities: Receive all incoming inquiries/orders, liaise with sourcing and planning to book production capacity, negotiate delivery dates/flows and give feedback to customer within the agreed time (24 hours). Maintain effective ongoing communication and rapport with the current customers and perform the following to build good relationships and enhance mutual trust and honesty. Be the link/voice of the customer with regards to product development from the time of receipt of customer requirements (sketch/design brief etc.) and follow through with the creations/development team in order to ensure that the developed products/designs meet all requirements/specifications of the customer in an effective and timely manner. Coordinate with planning/production with regards to the following and ensure that progress of manufacturing/delivery is in-line with the plan/ customer requirements. Maintain constant communication (via visits and telephone) with both current and potential customers, be readily available to solve any issues /provide expertise on Lace in order to build confidence and trust towards oneself in the customer so as to facilitate customer retention. Complete all required documentation pertaining to order confirmation and follow through status of order by regularly meeting with planner and convey order status to customer so as to meet expectations. Work as a support role (cross function) within the Sales & Marketing team in the absence of the assigned colleague in managing his/her area of work during the time of absence. Contribute to the team objectives as a member of the relevant KPI team in order to achieve the departmental KPI’s and intern for Noyon Lanka to accomplish the company objectives. Prepare/report customer/portfolio performance in areas such as order receipts versus budget, order fulfilment, on-time delivery etc. in order to facilitate management decision making/ follow up. Ensure compliance with the defined governance framework including upholding the MAS DNA, following Group/ Company policies & procedures, best practices (where the Group/ Company policies and procedures are not defines), relevant laws & regulations and undertake every necessary action to comply with the governance framework. Skills and Qualifications: Degree in Marketing OR Management CIM (full OR Part qualification) OR an equivalent qualification preferably in Sales & Marketing. 2-3 years of experience in customer service (strong in bulk operation, merchandising or in a manufacturing environment is preferred.)
