We are looking for a driven Account Executive to join our team with Dawson County News. This role is perfect for someone with an entrepreneurial mindset, a passion for helping businesses grow, and expertise in both digital and traditional marketing platforms. This is an outside sales position. We're looking for someone who is: Trained in outside sales Confident in maintaining relationships with large accounts Familiar with the local community in Dawsonville Strong in time management and able to work independently Coachable Experienced in consultative sales What You Will Do Drive Growth: Identify opportunities and execute sales strategies across digital media, mobile platforms, niche publications, and traditional newspapers. Deliver Results: Use our top-tier marketing services to achieve exceptional outcomes for local businesses. Build Partnerships: Develop relationships with local businesses, understanding their needs to create tailored, multi-platform marketing plans. Win New Business: Actively pursue and secure new revenue streams while managing and expanding a diverse client base. Qualifications What We’re Looking For Digital Expertise: Knowledge of Google Ads, Analytics, or related digital platforms. Sales Experience: 2+ years in consultative sales, with a proven track record of success. Problem Solver: Thrive on challenges and simplify complex issues for clients. Collaborative Mindset: Competitive yet team-oriented with excellent communication skills. Tech-Savvy: Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook). Previous experience with a CRM system is a plus. Transportation: Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and required insurance coverage. You will often be out in the field working with community members, so reliable transportation is absolutely required.
