WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

We are looking for someone who is an energetic and autonomous self-starter. Someone who has strong relationship building skills including networking as well as outstanding negotiation skills and has a persuasive ability. Who demonstrates initiative, enjoys a challenge and is always customer focused.
A passion for technology and naturally curious to explore the full breadth of its capabilities will thoroughly enjoy this role.

Along with that, we are also looking for the following:

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in an MSP or IT service provider
  • Technical understanding of managed services, networks and /or security solutions
  • Established skill set in solution and relationship sales
  • Demonstrated achievement of sales quota goals on a consistent basis
  • Proven history of selling large technology projects that require multi-level approvals in small - mid size organizations
  • Experience developing and maintaining strong client relationships,
  • Competence and confidence in presenting
  • Account management experience
  • Proven track record in the local IT industry
  • Tertiary qualification in relevant field is desirable
  • Any applicable Vendor Sales Certificates desirable

Responsibilities

Full time, 38 hours Monday-Friday and with hybrid working options.
The Account Executive is the key link between our clients and our business, responsible for nurturing relationships, understanding client needs, and delivering tailored solutions that drive satisfaction and growth. They manage portfolios, coordinate with internal teams, and ensure seamless service delivery while identifying opportunities to add value. Success in this role requires strong communication, strategic thinking, and a proactive approach to client engagement.

The duties and responsibilities of the role include but may not be limited to following:

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to consistently meet or exceed monthly gross profit targets.
  • Manage key client relationships, acting as the main point of contact to ensure high service levels and satisfaction.
  • Drive revenue growth by selling across all product categories, including equipment, services, and infrastructure solutions.
  • Identify and qualify new business opportunities through networking, cold calling, and proactive prospecting.
  • Conduct regular client engagements such as meetings, workshops, and reviews to maintain strong relationships and uncover new needs.
  • Design and present tailored solutions, including scoping, costing, and proposal development aligned with client requirements.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth project delivery and act as an escalation point for client concerns.
  • Maintain accurate sales data and forecasts in Connectwise, ensuring pipeline visibility and reporting accuracy.
  • Represent the company externally at events, trade shows, and client meetings to promote offerings and build brand presence.
  • Stay current through training and certifications, contributing to personal development and vendor alignment.
