Job Description
Nine has an exciting opportunity for an Account Executive to join our Publishing team on a 12-month paternity leave contract! In this role, you’ll support Sales Executives and the Group Business Manager by managing administrative processes and ensuring the smooth operation of the team.
The responsibilities of the role includes sales and campaign management, creating and updating financial reports, working with market research team to assist in analytical side of business, all administrative duties for print and online products, liaising with internal stakeholders including editorial, production, other sales teams, commercial innovation, and commercial operations.

  • Digital and print media awareness and experience (desirable)
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Demonstrate initiative
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and other presentation methods
  • Internal system knowledge e.g. CyberSells and Salesforce (desirable)
  • Ability to operate collaboratively as part of a team, or autonomously in a fast-paced, deadline- driven, dynamic environment.
  • Sound word processing and database management

Responsibilities
  • Work with Sales Executives to identify growth opportunities with current and new clients.
  • Respond to client inquiries and manage digital campaigns, providing timely updates.
  • Build strong relationships with clients for communication, bookings, billing, and artwork queries.
  • Provide support to internal teams and assist clients with quotes and information when needed.
  • Prepare reports on campaign performance and enter bookings into relevant systems.
  • Assist with sales collateral, weekly reporting, and organizing client meetings/events.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and Nine Publishing products.
  • Commit to ongoing development and collaborate with team members to support the business.
