You’ll be joining a highly successful regional team in a newly created Account Executive role dedicated to the North West Italy territory. This is a greenfield region with significant growth potential, making it an exciting opportunity for a hunter with an entrepreneurial mindset to establish Rubrik’s footprint in a new market. As the first Account Executive dedicated to North West Italy, you will own all aspects of bookings growth in the territory. You’ll be responsible for building the market from scratch — identifying opportunities, creating pipeline, and landing new logos — while collaborating closely with Sales Engineers, SDRs, and Rubrik’s channel ecosystem. This is a role for someone who thrives on building, not just running, a business. What You’ll Do: Define and execute a go-to-market plan for North West Italy, building pipeline and driving bookings growth in a greenfield territory. Relentlessly prospect and generate new opportunities through self-sourced activities. Land new enterprise logos, navigating complex buying cycles and driving high-value outcomes. Present Rubrik’s platform in complex IT and data center environments, articulating both technical value and business impact. Collaborate with Sales Engineers, SDRs, Channel Development, and strategic partners to accelerate growth. Act as the entrepreneur of your territory: identify opportunities, adapt quickly, and shape the strategy to succeed in a new market. Experience You’ll Need: 5+ years of closing experience in tech sales (IT infrastructure or SaaS, ideally both), selling into mid-to-large enterprises. Proven track record of self-sourced new logo acquisition and overachieving sales targets. Ability to translate IT challenges into meaningful business outcomes for CIO, CTO, and senior IT stakeholders. Experience building and leveraging relationships with channel partners and SDRs. Entrepreneurial mindset with the tenacity, resilience, and ownership needed to build a new territory. Highly driven, goal-oriented, and coachable. Preferred Qualifications: Experience selling complex enterprise solutions into IT decision-maker personas. Familiarity with MEDDPICC and Command of the Message. Strong ability to develop champions and navigate multi-stakeholder deals.
