Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE

Path Forward IT is seeking a driven, results-oriented Account Executive to own both new business acquisition and strategic account growth. This role is ideal for a skilled relationship-builder who thrives in complex sales environments, can manage multiple stakeholders, and understands the value of recurring service contracts in driving client success. Candidates with experience in Managed Service Provider (MSP) environments are strongly preferred. Experience in the healthcare sector is a plus. The role combines consultative selling with measurable results — leading full sales cycles from prospecting through contract signature while ensuring existing customers continue to receive exceptional value.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead the full sales process for new business opportunities from initial engagement to deal closure.
  • Manage and grow existing customer relationships to ensure satisfaction, retention, and expansion.
  • Identify and address customer risk factors to maintain account health.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with decision-makers and stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure successful delivery and customer outcomes.
  • Partner with Strategic Partners (vCIOs) to provide appropriate technical solutions.
  • Achieve quarterly and annual sales and revenue retention targets.
  • Travel regularly to meet with prospects and customers.
