Description Join Our Team as Account Executive! We are seeking an experienced Account Executive to join our Personal Lines team. In this role, you will partner with Risk Advisors and Practice Leaders to deliver exceptional service, oversee onboarding, support new business and renewals, and manage a profitable book of business. This position requires an Active Colorado Property and Casualty Multiple Lines license and the ability to work independently with confidence and professionalism. You will collaborate with internal teams and carrier partners, participate in client meetings, and help strengthen long term client relationships. This role is ideal for someone who brings strong communication skills, sound judgment, and experience managing complex personal lines accounts. What You’ll Do Client & Account Management: Oversee a portfolio of assigned accounts by ensuring profitability, retention, and growth while leading program design, conducting client and prospect meetings, performing annual reviews, and supporting Risk Advisors through comprehensive risk assessment and ongoing client service. New Business & Marketing: Drive new business growth by identifying opportunities, managing new and renewal marketing workflows, analyzing client data, preparing and presenting proposals, and issuing binding instructions to carriers. Carrier & Market Relations: Strengthen carrier partnerships by selecting appropriate markets, negotiating program structure and pricing, maintaining productive relationships with underwriters, and staying current on carrier offerings, products, services, and relevant legislation. Operational & Financial Responsibilities: Manage premium collections and receivables, utilize agency management systems effectively, and communicate operational or potential E&O concerns to management. Leadership & Collaboration: Contribute to a collaborative and growth-focused team environment by mentoring colleagues, participating in departmental training, suggesting process improvements, and supporting agency goals through effective placement and retention of business with key carrier partners What You Bring Education and Work Experience: Minimum of 5 years’ experience in an independent insurance agency or comparable risk management role. College degree preferred but not required. License or Certification Requirements: Active Colorado Property & Casualty (Multiple Lines) license required. CIC or equivalent designation required; willingness to pursue additional designations (CPCU, CRM, ARM, AAI, etc.). Requires current Colorado driver’s license and acceptable MVR. Client Relationship Management: Builds strong, professional relationships with high-net-worth clients to support retention and long-term account success. Insurance Expertise: Understands personal lines coverage and carrier options to guide clients, design programs, and support new and renewal business. Organization and Follow Through: Manages multiple accounts, deadlines, and tasks with accuracy while ensuring consistent and reliable delivery of service. Why Join Us? Pay may exceed this range for well-qualified candidates, commensurate with experience.
