Company: Marsh Risk Description: We are seeking a talented individual to join our Risk Management team at Marsh. This role will be based in Brisbane. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office. This is a rare opportunity to grow your career by supporting a dynamic Risk Management team. You will play a key role in delivering exceptional client service, developing your technical expertise, and contributing to innovative insurance solutions that protect and empower our clients. We will count on you to: Work in a team-based servicing environment, supporting Risk Management clients through their insurance renewals and annual insurance cycle Provide support to Senior Account Executives and Principals with portfolio management Assist in the development, implementation, and management of risk management and insurance programmes that accurately address client needs Establish and maintain long-term relationships with key decision-makers, acquiring and understanding their business and insurance needs Identify products that benefit clients and meet their needs, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices, policy accounting information, and other documentation Liaise and negotiate with clients, underwriters, and claims managers while developing a basic technical understanding of relevant classes of insurance What you need to have: Tier 1 qualification (or be prepared to commence studies) Experience in an insurance broking, claims, or underwriting environment A dedication to quality in all aspects of work performance and client services, with a passion for customer service Strong teamwork skills, maintaining solid working relationships with colleagues, clients, insurers, and other stakeholders Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with various audiences Computer literacy, including intermediate skills in MS Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word What makes you stand out: Exposure to risk management Comprehensive planning and organisation skills to ensure work is completed efficiently and on time Sound listening and comprehension skills A proactive approach to learning and developing a technical understanding of relevant insurance classes and specialist services Why join our team: We help you be your best through professional development opportunities, interesting work, and supportive leaders We foster a vibrant and inclusive culture where you can work with talented colleagues to create new solutions and have an impact for colleagues, clients, and communities Our scale enables us to provide a range of career opportunities, as well as benefits and rewards to enhance your well-being Applications can be considered from candidates who have the appropriate approval to work in Australia.
