Description

Piper Companies is hiring an Account Executive (SaaS) for a small SaaS company located in Austin, TX. The Account Executive will identify and set up new accounts by using in-bound leads for smaller customers, as well as cold calling an prospecting for enterprise level customers. The Account Executive will ideally live in Texas (Austin preferred) but can sit remote for the right candidate.

REQUIREMENTS FOR THE ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE (SAAS):

  • 3+ years of experience in enterprise software/technology sales, with a demonstrated ability to meet or exceed revenue goals
  • Strong background in B2B sales and account management across complex organizations
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and credibility with senior stakeholders
  • Proven ability to develop strategic account plans, execute with minimal oversight, and deliver long-term value
  • Adept at using data and CRM tools to prioritize opportunities and forecast accurately
  • Resilience, self-motivation, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment
  • High emotional intelligence with a customer-first mindset—empathetic, consultative, and value-driven
  • Familiarity with sales cycles involving technical products, working alongside solution engineers or technical stakeholders
Responsibilities
  • Identify and close new enterprise customer opportunities across key verticals
  • Grow and nurture existing accounts to uncover expansion potential
  • Develop tailored strategies and account plans in alignment with the companies values
  • Lead discovery, product demos, and business case development with prospects
  • Partner with technical teams to support product evaluations and POCs
  • Negotiate and close contracts to drive revenue and long-term satisfaction
  • Maintain accurate forecasts and use data to prioritize your time and effort
