About this role PlanetBids is looking for an ambitious and hungry Account Executive to join our growing sales team. This is a full-cycle role — you’ll prospect, qualify, demo, and close your own deals across government and education sectors. You won’t just be running demos handed to you; you’ll help build the pipeline you work. This is the right role for someone who is early in their sales career but has already proven they can perform. What we offer PlanetBids is pleased to provide all full-time team members with the following benefits: · Competitive pay that recognizes your skills and contributions · Flexible scheduling in a fully remote environment · Unlimited PTO with an annual vacation bonus to encourage recharging · Medical insurance with generous company contributions · Dental and vision insurance with 100% of employee premiums paid by the company · Company-paid short-term and long-term disability coverage · Company-paid life and AD&D insurance, with options to increase your coverage · Flexible Spending Account (FSA) and Dependent Care FSA options · 401(k) plan with both Traditional and Roth options, immediate vesting, and an employer match · Legal Club membership for personal legal support · Employee Assistance Program for confidential counseling and resources · Career pathing and professional development to help you grow and thrive · A collaborative, engaged culture where your ideas matter and your voice is heard Requirements Role Responsibilities · Manage the full sales cycle of small to mid-market agencies from prospecting and qualification through demo, negotiation, and close · Prospect self-generated leads through outbound cold calling, targeted email campaigns, and strategic outreach · Deliver engaging, consultative product demonstrations to stakeholders across government agencies and K-12 and higher education institutions · Utilize HubSpot CRM to manage pipeline, log all activity, and maintain accurate contact and deal records · Execute on campaigns developed by the sales and marketing team while also identifying your own opportunities · Work closely with teammates and leadership to refine messaging, improve conversion rates, and share market insights · Meet and exceed monthly and quarterly quotas for pipeline generation and closed revenue · Engage multiple stakeholders within prospect organizations to build consensus and advance deals Required and Desired Skills · 1–3 years of experience in SaaS or digital sales; you’ve run deals start to finish and have the results to show for it · Experience selling into or a strong interest in government or education sectors is a meaningful plus · HubSpot CRM experience required; you keep your pipeline accurate and your activity logged consistently · Comfortable running product demonstrations and presenting via video platforms like Zoom or Teams · Strong written and verbal communication skills; you can craft outreach that earns a response and run a call that earns a next step · A natural problem-solver who leads with empathy and connects customer challenges to real solutions · Self-directed and accountable in a fully remote environment; you manage your time and your pipeline without being micromanaged · Must be physically based in the United States and legally authorized to work for any employer · Willing to travel up to 25% for conferences, trade shows, training, corporate events, and other related events, as required · Ability to work both autonomously as well as within a team in a remote work environment · As a requirement, all candidates must be physically based in the United States and able to legally work for any employer How to apply Interested?
