The role The Account Executive role is responsible for converting awareness of and need for ADAS calibrations into Kinetic service revenue. The AE is an outgoing, trustworthy, goal-oriented partner to car dealerships and collision shops, whose days are spent satisfying the demands of their own customers, insurance approvals, schedules, and technical complexity. Your job is to help these shops get customer cars calibrated accurately, quickly, and at predictable, consistent cost. Responsibilities Market expansion: identify and close new business opportunities within the car dealership and collision centers segments across the Los Angeles and Orange County territory to meet or exceed quarterly quota Network development: use existing industry relationships to bypass gatekeepers and establish Kinetic as the premier ADAS calibration partner Solution sales: conduct on-site demonstrations and present materials that highlight Kinetic’s speed, transparency, and precision compared to current methods Full-cycle pipeline management: manage the entire sales process from cold outreach and lead generation to contract signing and handoff to operations and customer success teams Brand ambassadorship: represent Kinetic’s technology-forward identity at local industry events and trade shows to build a consistent lead funnel Required qualifications Automotive expertise: a minimum of 3-5 years of experience in automotive sales (SaaS, parts, or services), specifically selling into dealerships or collision repair networks Proven sales track record: A documented history of hitting or exceeding sales targets in a hunter-style role Territory background: deep familiarity with the Los Angeles and Orange County automotive landscapes and a ready-to-use ‘Rolodex’ of regional decision-makers Technical chops: ability to confidently discuss ADAS (advanced driver assistance systems) technology and the benefits of robotics/AI in the automotive service lifecycle Strategic communication: excellent verbal and written skills, with the ability to translate complex technical benefits into ROI-driven business cases for shop owners Desired personality attributes Curiosity: natural desire to understand the customer’s pain and how Kinetic’s AI-enabled robotics services, integrated estimatics, and scheduling software can solve them Ability to build trust: authenticity and reliability to win over skeptical traditionalists in the automotive service world Patience and resilience: understanding that while technology moves fast, the sales cycle for large dealerships and multi-shop operators requires persistent follow-up and relationship nurturing Goal obsession: a motivation to set and hit targets and be an influential, early commercial team member of a fast-growing, category-defining tech company Strategic extrovert: ability to pivot your energy from a high-level pitch to an owner/GM to a casual conversation with a production manager, estimator, or technician Benefits Competitive salary, variable compensation, and incentive stock options (ISOs) Health, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance 401(k) plan with company match Health savings account (HSA) available with company contribution Flexible spending accounts (FSAs) Paid vacation and holidays Mileage reimbursement Ongoing training and professional development opportunities Join us!
