As an Account Executive, you’ll take ownership of the full sales cycle—from generating sales opportunities to negotiating contracts—while collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative warehouse management solutions. If you’re ready to make a measurable impact and grow with a market leader in automation, we want to hear from you.
DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
Minimum 4–5 years of relevant industry experience, with at least 4 years in an Account Executive or equivalent sales role.
The ideal candidate has 5+ years of experience in selling automated material handling or warehouse automation solutions.
Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related technical field. Advanced degree (MS or MBA) is preferred.
Demonstrated success as an individual contributor with an average annual sales volume exceeding $20 million.
Proven ability to close high-value projects, including deals exceeding $10 million in total contract value.
Willing to travel up to 30% to meet prospective clients across North America and represent the company at industry conferences and events.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Proactively generate sales opportunities using tools like LinkedIn, cold calling, email outreach, networking, and trade show participation.
Qualify prospects by gathering key information, developing tailored proposals, and leading the solution development process.
Actively pursue and follow up leads to convert opportunities into successful sales.
Own and lead the full sales cycle, collaborating with internal teams (e.g., Data Analysts, Solution Consultants, Estimators) to craft customized logistics solutions.
Conduct in-depth client needs assessments and recommend appropriate services to optimize logistics operations.
Develop and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals that align with customer needs.
Negotiate contracts and agreements to secure long-term client partnerships.
Stay informed on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to offer innovative and effective logistics solutions.
Maintain accurate records of sales activities and perform essential administrative tasks in CRM and other systems.
Effectively manage client objections and navigate long, complex sales cycles with resilience and strategic focus.
