Chainalysis Government Solutions (CGS) is a wholly-owned Chainalysis subsidiary that provides blockchain intelligence solutions, including technology, training, and services, to law enforcement and government agencies across the United States. The Account Executive, State & Local Law Enforcement role at CGS is focused on supporting key Law Enforcement agencies (LEAs) at the state, county, and municipal levels. This role requires a consultative, high-touch approach and strong business acumen to help agencies combat crypto-related crime. We’re looking for an individual experienced in business development, cultivating new territory, and navigating the unique procurement cycles of state and local government. The ideal candidate is action-oriented, comfortable leading cross-functional teams, and possesses a deep understanding of the State & Local Government (SLG) Law Enforcement landscape. IN THIS ROLE, YOU’LL: * Expand our footprint within State & Local Law Enforcement agencies through strategic business development and relentless pursuit of new opportunities. * Meet regularly with Command Staff, Investigators, and District Attorneys to understand their specific mission requirements and translate them into actionable blockchain intelligence solutions. * Navigate SLG procurement processes, including RFI/RFP responses, grant funding opportunities (such as JAG or UASI), and cooperative purchasing agreements. * Accelerate solution adoption by partnering closely with our Strategic Account Manager and Training teams to ensure investigators are successfully closing cases using our tools. * Develop compelling messaging that speaks directly to the challenges of local Law Enforcement, from narcotics and human trafficking to financial crimes and cyber-attacks. * Build strategic relationships with key stakeholders and regional task forces (e.g., HIDTA, ICAC) to create a diverse and sustainable pipeline. * Collaborate internally across CGS and Chainalysis to provide expert advice on technical concepts, product roadmaps, and training to craft tailored proposals for SLG customers. WE’RE LOOKING FOR CANDIDATES WHO: * Have a proven track record of quota attainment in B2G SaaS and professional services sales within the State & Local Government sector. * Possess 3+ years of experience working within or selling to Law Enforcement agencies (Police Departments, Sheriff’s Offices, State Bureaus of Investigation). Direct experience as a sworn officer or investigator is highly preferred. * Are highly collaborative and communicative, with an entrepreneurial mindset capable of "owning" a geographic territory. * Can simplify the complex, conveying technical blockchain concepts in a way that is approachable for investigators and executive leadership alike. NICE TO HAVE EXPERIENCE: * Experience leading or supporting training initiatives for Law Enforcement, such as curriculum development, field training (FTO), or presenting at police academies/technical conferences. * Existing relationships with SLG "Decision Makers" and influencers in the public safety space. * Familiarity with state-level legislative processes and budgeting cycles. * Previous experience in digital forensics, financial crimes, or cybercrime investigations. * Experience leveraging government contract vehicles (e.g., GSA, NASPO, or state-specific contracts)
