Job Title: Founding Account Executive Salary: $120-150k OTE + Equity Location: New York City (In-Person) About Terial: Terial is disrupting the ~$13+ trillion global construction industry with AI-powered operating software for commercial roofers and contractors. Our product offers an exciting opportunity to build a vertical solution at the intersection of climate, real estate, and fintech. Since the start of 2025, we’ve 10x’d the business on the heels of overwhelming demand. Backed by top-tier investors and serving hundreds of customers nationwide, we’re scaling rapidly and you’ll join as one of our earliest non-technical hires. Role Overview: We’re looking for a high-impact, collaborative Account Executive to help accelerate our growth and expand our presence in the commercial roofing industry. You’ll be joining a fast-growing core team at a pivotal moment, building on a proven go-to-market motion while bringing fresh ideas to deepen customer relationships and drive revenue. This role offers significant ownership, close collaboration with leadership, and the opportunity to grow alongside a company that’s scaling rapidly. Key Responsibilities: Customer Acquisition: Own the end-to-end sales cycle, from prospecting and qualifying leads to negotiating and closing deals. Market Leadership: Develop and execute strategies to establish Terial as the go-to solution for commercial contractors. Customer-Centric Selling: Build strong relationships with customers by understanding their needs and positioning Terial’s value effectively. Pipeline Development: Collaborate with the team to create and refine outbound and inbound lead generation strategies. Feedback Loop: Act as the voice of the customer, providing critical feedback to influence product development and roadmap decisions. Team Building: Lay the groundwork for scaling the sales team, including designing sales processes and mentoring future hires. Qualifications: 3+ years of experience in B2B SaaS sales, with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding quota. Experience selling to SMB or mid-market customers; familiarity with construction and proptech is a strong plus but not required. An entrepreneurial mindset: comfortable navigating ambiguity and wearing multiple hats in a fast-paced startup environment. Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally. A data-driven approach to sales, with proficiency in CRM tools and a focus on continuous improvement. Willingness to travel (upwards of 20% of the time) to conferences, seminars and in-person events with prospects. Passion for learning and excitement about building solutions for an industry ready for transformation. Compensation & Benefits: Salary: $120,000 - $150,000 OTE, commensurate with experience.
