The Plot Thickens: Job Description Integrated marketing communications (IMC): Provide strategic thinking and approach to guide communication tactics across different marketing channels, including paid, owned and earned media. Media relations: Propose strategy for media pitching, interesting story angles and maintain a network of media contacts; Organize media briefings, support media strategy counsel to spokespeople and manage media events. Content creation: Ensure consistent tone and accuracy of content, review key content pieces (such as press releases Q&A documents, bylines), and develop key messages and communication plans for clients (in English and Chinese). Market intelligence and reporting: Oversee and review different types of reports, track results against goals, and provide insightful summaries and analysis for clients. Client relations: Serve as a point person and trusted partner with clients, provide counsel and manage expectations for program execution and maintain a high-quality standard across the work you deliver. Account management: Oversee day-to-day account activities with speed and accuracy, track account budget and resourcing, and work with senior leaders to manage all aspects of the account. New business: Contribute to RFPs and pitch decks and participate in new business presentations. Mentorship/training: Serve as a direct manager to junior staff and provide constructive feedback to help staff grow and advance their development (soft- and hard-skills).
