ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE, THOUGHT LEADERSHIP

Are you a natural storyteller with a passion for helping changemakers amplify their voices? Do you excel at translating complex ideas into compelling, high-impact narratives? RALLY is seeking a thoughtful, strategic communicator to join our growing Thought Leadership team as an Account Executive.
In this role, you’ll help elevate the public profiles of executives, advocates, and experts across a range of issue areas. You’ll work across 2–4 client teams at a time, contributing to platform development, messaging, executive visibility, and strategic storytelling, while collaborating with colleagues in earned media, digital, and creative.
You are a strong candidate if you bring excellent writing and ghostwriting skills, the ability to shape an executive’s voice, digital fluency, and an awareness of amplification opportunities. You thrive in fast-paced, high-stakes environments, are comfortable managing up to senior leaders and C-suite clients, and enjoy connecting the dots between strategic insight, emerging trends, and powerful stories.

Responsibilities
  • Contribute to the shaping of a leader’s voice and point of view through the development of framing recommendations, written content, and persona alignment
  • Draft, edit, and ghostwrite high-quality thought leadership materials, including op-eds, LinkedIn posts, blogs, executive bios, talking points, and speeches
  • Develop tailored executive platforms by conducting stakeholder interviews, analyzing the issue and peer landscape, and facilitating messaging workshops to define narrative direction
  • Synthesize research, data, interviews, and insights into sharp, actionable messaging and storytelling strategies
  • Conduct research to inform platform and messaging strategy, including issue landscape analysis, communications audits, and identifying whitespace opportunities
  • Monitor news cycles, thought leadership trends, and public discourse to identify timely opportunities for clients to engage meaningfully with their audiences
  • Support client events and executive briefings with strategic memos, prep materials, and backgrounders that distill key information and messaging priorities
  • Collaborate with teammates across earned media, content development, and digital to support the integrated execution of thought leadership campaigns
  • Contribute to new business development by supporting pitch materials, capability decks, and case studies tailored to prospective thought leadership clients
  • Perform other duties as required to support the team and the organization’s priorities
  • Advance the growth of the Thought Leadership vertical by sharing best practices and participating in vertical team discussions and trainings
  • Manage workflow across multiple clients and internal projects, ensuring excellence in execution and communication
