DESCRIPTION

An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced Workers’ Compensation professional to join our Workplace Risk Practice in Melbourne. This practice focuses on managing workplace injury risks, including workers’ compensation, by delivering quality advice and services to clients, managing key programs, and identifying new business opportunities. Reporting to the Victorian Workplace Risk State Manager, the primary focus of this role is to provide innovative and flexible solutions to workplace risk and workers’ compensation programs, helping clients achieve sustainable performance improvements.

THE REQUIREMENTS

  • Previous experience in a workers’ compensation role, or similar within an insurance or self-insurance environment.
  • Demonstrate a comprehensive knowledge of workers’ compensation claims principles and processes, and ideally how these vary by state
  • The ability to identify key policy/premium influencing factors and provide support to the claims process
  • Strong Microsoft Office/Excel skills
  • Excellent report writing and correspondence skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to provide clear explanation to clients when required
  • A customer centric approach to work

Responsibilities
  • Manage clients’ workplace risk programs, ensuring the delivery of high-quality services
  • Providing Outsourced Return to Work support services for a range of clients
  • Maintaining comprehensive client data and updating accordingly
  • Producing analytical written reports for clients
  • Completing premium renewals and policy placement of national workers’ compensation insurance
  • Undertaking premium forecasting
  • Maximising the revenue generated from the existing client base by continual analysis of client profitability and maximisation of group functions
  • Support WTW to seek and secure new business opportunities through cross-selling of broader WTW service offerings
  • Adhering to all compliance and business processes
