As an Account Manager, you are pivotal in supporting the Business Director/ Account Director in the smooth running of the business. Our account handlers are responsible for client relationships, managing the team, building relationships with stakeholders and delivering against budgets and workflows. You should have a proven track record within account handling, have knowledge of industry best-practice and have a strong commercial acumen. Key Responsibilities Support the Associate Account Director and Business Director with day to day operations of this retainer account Manage day-to-day client relationships, acting as the primary point of contact for all communications and project updates Oversee end-to-end project delivery, ensuring timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met Have financial responsibilities, including preparing cost estimates Understand client business objectives and translate them into clear, actionable briefs for creative, strategy, and production teams Monitor project performance and provide data-driven insights and reporting to clients Ensure alignment between client expectations and agency deliverables Proactively manage risks, issues, and scope changes Client-centric mindset with strong relationship-building skills Proven ability to make informed decisions and problem-solve based on sound knowledge Capability of working under pressure and to tight deadlines Integrate and leverage AI tools (e.g., automation platforms, generative AI, data analytics tools) to streamline workflows and improve operational efficiency Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field Min 3–6 years of experience in account management within an advertising, marketing, or creative agency Familiarity with digital marketing, content production, and integrated campaigns Experience with AI-powered platforms (e.g., content generation, workflow automation, predictive analytics) Commercial acumen Excellent negotiation and problem solving skills Strong project management and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple accounts simultaneously Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills #LI-CT1 Why work here: At WPP Production, you’ll help shape the future of content production at a truly global scale.
