Summary: This role will be responsible to grow business with existing and new customers.  This role involves working with customers and potential customers to understand their needs while creating solutions to add value, drive revenue growth and increase customer satisfaction and loyalty.   Essential Functions: Own the strategy, sales budget and customer satisfaction of accounts in the assigned territory. Develop and execute a sales growth plan to achieve long term strategic growth plan. Arrange and facilitate key customer visits within the region for marketing and other functional employees in support of the territory sales objectives. Manage and develop the relationship with key customers on all levels, analyzing their needs and ensuring a profound understanding of the business and financial targets in order to create added value. Use Customer Resource Management (CRM) tools to document visit reports, new opportunities, contracts and market conditions within assigned territory. Inform marketing and sales management about up to the minute key changes in market conditions within sector and region. Recommend new processes or strategies to capture or protect business opportunities for the company. Provide monthly territory forecast updates that feed into the Smart Planning program Other duties as assigned. Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Marketing, Business or related field.  May consider equivalent work experience in lieu of degree. 6+ years of experience in sales and direct account management. 2+ years experience negotiating contracts with large, tier 1 customers. Experience with customer relationship management (CRM) software. Travel:  Up to 30%.
