Job Details Job Location: VALCOURT BUILDING VA NCD - North Chesterfield, VA 23237 Job Category: Facilities The Account Manager serves as the primary point of contact for assigned clients. This role is focused on ensuring client satisfaction, maintaining strong client relationships, and acting as the liaison between clients and internal operations teams. The Account Manager will proactively manage client needs, resolve issues, identify business opportunities, and drive growth through excellent service and communication. Key Responsibilities Serve as the main contact and advocate for assigned client accounts Identify and pursue upselling and cross-selling opportunities across Valcourt’s divisions. Support the Operations team in troubleshooting client concerns and communicating service expectations clearly. Strengthen relationships with clients through proactive outreach, including phone calls, site visits, and customer appreciation initiatives. Attend and represent Valcourt at industry events, client lunches, and association functions to enhance visibility and relationship-building. Assist Accounts Receivable with client communications related to billing and collections when necessary. Coordinate new business opportunities, changeovers, and one-time sales. Maintain accurate records of client interactions and opportunities in CRM systems. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure quality, timeliness, and consistency of services delivered. Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Communications, or a related field. 3–5 years of progressive work experience with a proven record of success. Background in Property Management, Construction, Customer Service, Commercial Real Estate, or Project Management preferred. Strong communication and relationship-building skills. Demonstrated service-oriented mindset and ability to manage multiple client priorities. Self-starter with the ability to work independently and within a team environment. Engaging, professional demeanor suitable for representing the company at client and industry events.
