JOB SUMMARY:
An Account Manager manages relationships with key clients, which often include automotive manufacturers, suppliers, or distributors. An Account Manager plays a vital role in driving sales growthprofitability, maintaining client satisfaction, and ensuring the company’s competitiveness in the market. They combine strong interpersonal skills with strategic thinking and industry knowledge to achieve these objectives.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
- A bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing, sales, engineering, or a related field is required. Specialized Training: Courses or certifications related to sales, account management, negotiation, and automotive technology would be beneficial.
- Sales Experience: Minimum 4+ years of prior experience in sales, particularly in the automotive industry or manufacturing sector, is highly valued. This could include roles such as sales representative, account executive, or business development manager.
- Account Management Experience: Experience in managing client accounts, handling negotiations, and ensuring customer satisfaction is crucial. Candidates should demonstrate a track record of building and maintaining strong relationships with clients.
- Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with automotive parts manufacturing processes, supply chain dynamics, and market trends is advantageous. Experience working with automotive OEMs (Original Equipment Manufacturers) or Tier 1 suppliers is highly desirable.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential for effectively interacting with clients, presenting proposals, and negotiating contracts.
- Negotiation Skills: Account Managers must be adept negotiators, capable of securing favorable terms for the company while maintaining positive relationships with clients.
