Are you an experienced Account Manager with a background in facilities management or working at heights? Access North, a well-established family-run business specialising in safety and accessing hard-to-reach places, is looking for a passionate team player to join us near Huddersfield.

WHAT WE NEED

  • 4+ years account management or client-facing experience
  • Essential: Facilities management, working at heights, or construction background
  • Strong people and management skills
  • Exceptional communication and negotiation abilities
  • Experience with Google Workspace, Salesforce (CRM), Asana, SafetyCulture, and Apple Macs
  • Natural problem-solver who can work on their own initiative
  • Must live within 45 minutes commute of Huddersfield
  • Tech-savvy with cloud-based tools and willing to adapt to new software

Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE

You’ll be managing both new and existing client relationships whilst working closely with our technical team to deliver projects on time and within budget. This hybrid role combines account management with business development, project management, and ensuring we meet our SLAs and KPIs.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Nurture existing client relationships and develop new business opportunities
  • Work alongside our technical team on project delivery and strategic planning
  • Handle quoting, estimating, and job costing
  • Manage projects ensuring on-time delivery, budget control, and accurate costing
  • Deliver well-rounded projects whilst meeting SLAs and KPIs
  • Foster a culture of trust, diligence, and collaboration
  • “Jump in” whenever needed as part of our close-knit tea
