Proclaim has recently been acquired DWF, and we are looking for a dedicated Claims Account Manager in our Accident, Health & Travel department. This role will be based in Sydney CBD on a full-time basis.
You will make efficient technical decisions whilst providing exceptional customer service to our clients. This role will also see you take ownership and management of a portfolio of travel claims, liaise with relevant parties, assess liability and financial exposure, and make recommendations for the future strategy of each claim.

Responsibilities:

TECHNICAL SKILLS:

  • Broad understanding of Accident & Health & Travel insurance policies
  • Understanding of the Insurance Contracts Act
  • Understanding of the Insurance Code of Practice and Privacy Code
  • Understanding the role of brokers and industry stakeholders
  • Interpretation of policy/clauses/exclusions
  • Solid understanding of the client structure, fee structure and invoice process
  • Ability to assess quantum and reserve effectively
  • Ability to identify conflicts of interest
  • Understanding of Lloyds of London key processes
