Overview:

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with vendors, carriers, and external partners to resolve claims and benefit-related issues.
  • Stay updated on forms, coverage, industry trends, and relevant legislation.
  • Follow client service workflows, engage internal resources, and ensure compliance with company SOPs.
  • Manage employee and management communications regarding benefits, enrollment, and eligibility.
  • Oversee wellness program coordination, Open Enrollment planning, and compliance-related initiatives.
  • Monitor benefits administration, including new accounts, funding, ACA compliance, and audits.
  • Maintain accurate benefit information in carrier portals, EDI file feeds, and internal platforms.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years in insurance, benefits administration, or brokerage preferred.
  • Undergraduate degree preferred; equivalent experience considered.
  • Life and Health Insurance State License required.
  • GBA, PHR, CLU, CEBS, or CBP preferred but not required.
  • Knowledge of HMO, PPO, CDHP, wellness programs, dental, life, disability, and benefits regulations.
  • Strong ability to prioritize, work independently, and meet objectives with minimal supervision.
  • Proficiency in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, with expertise in financial spreadsheets.
