Full job description
Auricall is an AI-powered business communications platform that helps modern businesses manage and understand the entire customer journey.
Our platform combines reliable business telephony with automated call transcription, summaries, sentiment analysis, advanced reporting, AI-generated follow-ups, live chat and Customer Relationship Intelligence.
We are developing an indirect sales channel through referral partners, resellers, managed service providers, telecoms providers and other businesses that can introduce or sell Auricall to their customers.
The role
Auricall is looking for a commercially driven Account Manager to help grow our network of referral and reseller partners.
You will identify, approach, recruit and support businesses that can offer Auricall to their existing customers. Working closely with Auricall’s leadership team, you will help turn our channel strategy into a repeatable source of new customers and recurring revenue.
This role would suit someone with experience in B2B sales, business development, account management or partnerships—ideally within telecoms, Unified Communications, SaaS, IT services or managed services.
We are particularly interested in candidates who already have relevant industry relationships and can use those connections to open new commercial opportunities.
Key responsibilities
Recruit new partners
- Identify and approach suitable referral, reseller and wholesale partners.
- Develop relationships with telecoms resellers, MSPs, IT providers, consultants and other organisations serving UK businesses.
- Use your existing professional network to generate early partner opportunities.
- Present Auricall’s product and commercial proposition to business owners, directors and senior decision-makers.
- Build and maintain a qualified pipeline of prospective partners.
- Support the negotiation of referral, commission and reseller agreements.
- Convert prospective partners into signed and active Auricall partners.
Onboard and activate partners
- Guide new partners through Auricall’s onboarding process.
- Provide partners with product information, sales materials and commercial guidance.
- Train partners to position and introduce Auricall confidently.
- Support partners with customer presentations, demonstrations and sales opportunities.
- Help partners promote Auricall to their existing customer bases.
- Ensure signed partners progress quickly towards generating their first customer.
Generate partner revenue
- Develop partner relationships into active, revenue-generating accounts.
- Work with partners to identify suitable customers and commercial opportunities.
- Track introductions, opportunities, conversions and recurring revenue.
- Re-engage partners that are not generating sufficient activity.
- Identify opportunities to grow successful partner accounts.
- Maintain accurate pipeline records, forecasts and performance reports.
- Work towards agreed targets for partner acquisition, customer conversion and recurring revenue.
Support the channel programme
- Help Auricall improve its referral, reseller and wholesale models.
- Provide feedback on partner incentives, sales materials and onboarding processes.
- Help create repeatable partner-development and sales processes.
- Gather feedback from partners and their customers.
- Work with Auricall’s marketing, product, onboarding and support teams to improve the partner experience.
- Represent Auricall at relevant networking events, exhibitions and industry meetings.
Required experience
- At least three years’ experience in B2B sales, business development, account management, partnerships or a similar commercial role.
- Experience in telecoms, Unified Communications, VoIP, SaaS, IT services, managed services or a related sector.
- Evidence of developing professional relationships that have generated new customers or revenue.
- Confidence approaching and presenting to business owners, directors and senior decision-makers.
- Strong prospecting, relationship-building and negotiation skills.
- The ability to explain technical products in clear commercial language.
- Experience managing a sales pipeline and working towards revenue targets.
- Good CRM, forecasting and reporting discipline.
- A proactive, organised and results-focused approach.
- The ability to work from Auricall’s Reading office.
