We are Moving2Canada, a multi-award winning platform committed to simplifying the move to Canada for our community. We are seeking a Partnerships Assistant driven to help us connect with our global community and partners. The position is open to candidates across Canada.

In 2023, we are celebrating 10 successful years in business with a relaunch of our site. The new Moving2Canada offers a dynamic, personalized user experience behind the login so that our community can understand and design their own journey to success in Canada, affordably and with confidence. This is a disruptive product in an industry in need of disruption.
The hired candidate will be expected to integrate quickly and make a significant contribution to growing our partnerships with a network of ally organisations that share our mission to empower recent and prospective newcomers to Canada. We work with commercial partners in banking and financial services, insurance, telecoms, immigration consultancy, and recruitment, among others. We advertise on behalf of our partners through a wide range of tactics, including, but not limited to: advertising (banners and pre-roll), custom content (text, video, multimedia), social media, live events, lead generation, EDM and other forms of email marketing.
In addition to the continued support of our commercial partners, our product development is backed by multiple federal government grants (IRAP and SR&ED) to support innovation.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • A degree in any business subject or full-time experience in digital account management.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communications skills.
  • Ability to make logical and compelling arguments.
  • Advanced skills with spreadsheets and data crunching, from analyzing datasets through to delivering insights.
  • Advanced analytics skills with digital measurements.
  • Ability to think and perform both tactically and strategically.
  • Strong attention to detail and critical thinking skills.
  • Ability to multitask and work quickly under tight deadlines, to pivot readily and react to real-time data.
  • Ability to multi-task and work well within a dynamic, fast-paced organization.
  • Ability to tell a story with the data.
  • A passion for the newcomer journey.
Responsibilities
  • Assisting the Director of Partnerships in setting up and managing campaigns and affiliate partnerships.
  • Identifying, creating, and implementing solutions grounded on achieving measurable business results for our partners.
  • Analyzing data and insights to guide strategy and implementation of solutions.
  • Communicating with partners regularly to ensure the success of partnerships and continued growth of the account.
  • Internal communication to team members regarding partnership deliverables, primarily through Project Management software (Asana) but also through recurring calls, kick-off meetings, and more.
  • Forecasting the future use of digital inventory, including advertising inventory.
  • Managing live events such as webinars end-to-end, including ideation, presentations, promotion, and reporting.
  • Preparing invoices and ensuring payments are received on time.
  • Exploring new opportunities by vertical and brand, and submitting recommendations to senior management.
  • Submitting product recommendations to the Product Manager, based on interactions with partners and broader analysis of digital newcomer marketing.
