Description

As Virtuagym keeps on growing, we’re looking for an Account Manager for the Benelux market, to join our Account Management team in Amsterdam. You are passionate about building strong relationships with your customers in the health and fitness industry. You provide them with recommendations on how to build the right tactics to move their business forward and you help them see the value in our broad offering of (software) tools to ensure business growth. As Account Manager it is your main goal to grow your book of business through upsell strategies as well as to retain your customer base and increase their happiness.

Responsibilities

WHAT THIS ROLE LOOKS LIKE

You will be in charge of managing a book of customers within the health and fitness industry such as fitness clubs and boutique studios. Your goal is to retain these customers, to mitigate churn and upsell the customers on additional modules. In addition, you will be tasked with migrating customers to more advanced software platforms where applicable.

SOME OF YOUR KEY TASKS AS AN ACCOUNT MANAGER

  • Serve as the lead point of contact for your customers;
  • Engage with existing customers through high velocity outbound prospecting to up-sell, renew and cross sell;
  • Keep track of upsell opportunities through a defined sales process within Salesforce.com to achieve and surpass your monthly targets;
  • Demonstrate software solutions to your customers, from core products to modules, to payment solutions and upgrades;
  • Coach merchants to grow their business by providing tailored and structured recommendations to achieve those goals;
  • Build a trusted advisor relationship with your customers and identify upsell opportunities;
  • Negotiate contracts and close agreements to maximize the growth of your book of business;
  • Guide customers through their upgrade path from basic platforms to our more advanced all in one platforms;
  • Demonstrate an in-depth understanding of industry trends and act as a trusted advisor who leads one-on-one screen sharing presentations;
  • Collaborate with our Customer Success team to identify accounts at risk and prevent churn;
